Crystal - Review

In Japan, you can trade with people all over the country with the Mobile GB Adapter. You can also catch Celebi. In the American version, they took out the cellphone compatibility. Celebi is in there, but can only be found with a Gameshark code. Still, the American version has some good upgrades.

Suicune is the mascot of Crystal. In Crystal, you get a chance to fight and try to catch Suicune, unlike the previous versions. Why Suicune? I don't know. In this version, there are two big challenges. In order to catch Ho-oh, you need to first catch all three legendary beasts. Then, there's the Battle Tower. It's a great challenge for super experienced trainers, and challenge is what I like. It's super hard to win, but if you do, you'll get some super good prizes.

The bad part about Crystal is that you can't cheat, meaning you can't duplicate your items. So you think you only get one of each evolution stone? Wrong! During the game, trainers will call you to give you some rare stones. You should be able to get more than one of each evolution stone, plus the stone Bill's grandfather gives you. Also, the Pokemon in battles are animated, making them look more alive.

Get what I think? Maybe you do, maybe you don't. But whatever you think, I'm giving Pokemon Crystal, this great addition to Gold and Silver a rating of:
