New Colors
Sunday, April 30, 2006 @ 02:54 AM EDT
Since we've had the old blue-and-green layout for such a long time, I decided to change the colors a bit. Now the whole site looks fiery and hot. I didn't change the graphics this time; I thought they were good enough. I just got bored with the old colors. Please post your thoughts about this new color scheme by clicking "Comments" below.

Also, I've finally set up the Oekaki. I'm hoping to make this Oekaki very popular, and need a few highly experienced people to help me moderate this drawing board. If you think you may qualify, please drop me an e-mail.

Pokemon Dream Running at 100%
Tuesday, April 18, 2006 @ 02:07 PM EDT
After many days of having to deal with the "side-effects" of switching servers, Pokemon Dream is pretty much stable and running smoothly. The only thing that still needs to get set up is the Oekaki, which I'm currently having slight problems configuring. After that, everything should be nice like before.

I'd also like to announce that I'm looking for a few people to help me find Pokemon news to post here on the front page. These news posters will not need to know any special computer languages or anything of that sort. If you think that you write well and are able to post at least two times per week, please write me a request at weicool@gmail.com.

New Server...More Options
Tuesday, April 11, 2006 @ 01:25 AM EDT
As you may have noticed, there has been quite a bit of downtime this Monday. The reason is that Pokemon Dream has switched web servers. Some sections of the website such as the PokeDex and Forums may not be functioning yet, but should begin working soon. This new hosting plan offers PD an incredible amount of resources at 20 GB of storage space (not that we need even a tenth as much space) and 750 GB of bandwidth per month. With so much bandwidth, you can expect more options from Pokemon Dream in the near feature in terms of additional features (Oekakis, Photo Galleries, etc.) and perhaps more graphics on the site as a whole. 750 GB of bandwidth is more than we could use (at least for now), so the future looks bright for PD!

This is a new news updating system which is more advanced and will allow readers to post comments. Why not give it a try? Click the "Comments" link below the news post and post your thoughts and feelings. PD will be back in action (hopefully), so you can expect many new things to come. Stay tuned! laughing
