News Archive - August 2001

Remember the Editorials section at Pokemon Dome? Well, I've decided to change it to a section called News Reports. Click here to get there. It is a combination of very large news stories with editorials. Because of the launch of this new section, a new report was added. It's called Pokemon...Advanced?, and it's about ideas on future Pokemon RPGs. It also talks a tiny bit about the new E-Card Reader game, Pokemon Summer Road.

The walkthrough was slightly updated with some new information and also stuff that I found that was ridiculously screwed up. I'm also working on a new story, which will be very cool.

The G/S/C Walkthrough is finally done. Crystal locations for Johto is all done, and everything else is done. I just need to fix the layout a bit. I'm not going to do any locations for Kanto. Little sprite characters were added to the walkthrough. It just makes everything look better. There's also a new Sprites section in the PPA. Next, I'm going to work super hard on the PokeDex. Please, if anyone out there has a synopsis for Pokemon 3 The Movie or The Bug Stops Here, send it to me.

It's not big news or anything. It's just Pokemon 3 The Movie, released on VHS and DVD today! That's all the info that I have (not much, huh?). There isn't much of anything today. The only update is that the new Forums is up! Of course, many things will be modified to make it a even better board. Finally, I need someone to write me a synopsis of A Goldenrod Opportunity.

The Fan Fics section has had a huge update. Two new stories are added, which is a small update. The big update is that now the stories are ordered alphabetically. 3 new Fan Arts, and 5 new TCG decks! Those will soon be rated.

Also, a new episode guide for A Dairytale Ending has been added. This synopsis was submitted by a person called Sean. Thank you Sean! Here's some more Pokemon Anime news. Next week, KIDs' WB will be skipping an episode, where Ash goes into the Radio Tower. Instead, they are airing National Park, an episode called The Bug Stops Here. Only one new episode for next Saturday. They will be skipping an episode with Sudowoodo, and then it's Fossil Food. If you saw the KIDs' WB commercial this Saturday, you'll see a scene of Sudowoodo. This is either a mistake, or Sudowoodo will appear for The Bug Stops Here.

Currently, I'm working very hard on the new message board, a YaBB (Yet Another Bulliten Board), so I won't be doing anything else for a while.

I've added (like I promised) a Battle Tower page for Crystal, and also a Gameshark Codes page also for Crystal. The codes are from Gameshark.com. Wow! Two new Crystal pages! Also, KIDs' WB is airing two new episodes, as you may know already. Well, here's something you might not know, the names of the two episodes. The first one is called A Goldenrod Opportunity, and the other is called A Dairy Tale Ending. They are both happening at Goldenrod City, I believe. You will soon find episode guides of those episodes at the Episode Guide section, when Audrey sends me the info. Finally, the G/S/C Walkthrough is extended to Celadon City.

Today, I would like to tell you about an e-mail I received. Someone will offer me a free domain, Pokemon-Dome.com, for free (duh). It was the change of a life time to boost Pokemon Dome to the number one PKMN site on the net, but, I decided not to. I'm not sure if I wanted to get the free domain. Well, let's not talk about it anymore, since that e-mail is like a tiger who doesn't eat meat (meaning it's rare, almost never), and I deleted it. Well, you are the weakest link, GOODBYE! o_O

There isn't much Pokemon news today. But there is still an old news. Interact, the company that makes Gameshark, is releasing a special-edition Pokemon Gameshark that includes codes you'll need for Crystal, and all the Pokemon games before that!

More information on the PokeDex. I will probably put it up for viewing a week later, when more Pokemon data is up. That wraps it up for today, so goodbye!

I would really appreciate it if someone out there can help me find a good, free host that supports CGI and SSI and will offer me a subdomain. I'm really sick and tired of Tripod. I've added a new page for Crystal about Move Tutor, submitted by The Ultimate Pokemon Center. I'll possibly be adding a page on the Battle Tower. Also, there is a lot more information in the walkthrough about Crystal.

Visitors has obviously grown since the G/S/C Walkthrough was up. Now there's another tracker, and a better menu.

As I go around the site to check for errors, and I see the PokeDex PD currently has. I have decided to make a new PokeDex, something near the PokeDex of TPM and BMG. It should take a month, or less to complete the data for every single Pokemon. This is a huge project, much larger than the G/S/C Walkthrough, which I will be finishing (currently on Vermilion City) as I work on the PokeDex. Look around, have fun, and come back regularly for updates!

Today, we're talking about visitors to Pokemon Dome. We get around 350 visitors a day, 180 on the front page. 350 should be the real number, since so many people searches PD up. Now I want to show you something really nasty. The word "nude" is the third word most people get to our site from searching. The word Misty is sort of after that. Now that just shows people really want to see "nude Misty". Too bad, those people came to the wrong site, because PD doesn't have that, and will not ever. Also, more people are referred to PD from search engines than from websites. This is quite ridiculous, since most websites have more refferals from other sites, not search engines. Click here if you want to see the information. Also, the word Crystal is right after Pokemon, the number one search word for this site. And so, to cheat the search engines, I'm going to put a lot of Crystal words.
