Gold/Silver Updates
Tuesday, February 27, 2001
Pokemon Dome has a new affiliate called Poke Magic. It's a really cool site, with tons of stuff to look at. I've updated the site once again. Yay! I did the updating in the Gold/Silver section. There, I added the Phone Locations, a list of trainers and locations where you can leave your phone number to them. I also added a TM HM List, and you must know what that is. More stuff will be added to the Gold/Silver section, since that's the game every Pokemon fan is playing, right? I added only a little bit information for Crystal, since currently, there's not much to add.

If you are wondering why Pokemon Dome is getting more visitors now a days, I'll tell you. It is because Yahoo! has indexed Pokemon Dome, and every day around 10 people search up the site. Yahoo! (the happy kind of yahoo) And as more people come, they like it, and keep on coming.

Top Selling Games
Monday, February 26, 2001
Below are the top selling video games:

Paper Mario (Nintendo, N64)
Knockout Kings 2001 (EA Sports, PS2)
Phantasy Star Online (Sega, DC)
ATV Offroad Fury (SCEA, PS2)
Pokemon Silver (Nintendo, GBC)
Pokemon Gold (Nintendo, GBC)
Mario Tennis (Nintendo, GBC)
Madden NFL 2001 (EA Sports, PS2)
Oni (Rockstar, PS2)
Mega Man X5 (Capcom, PS)

It looks like Pokemon has gone down. A few months ago, it was Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Gold, and Zelda: Majora's Mask. One thing that I can't believe is that Paper Mario is number one. I mean, it probably sucks!

I've updated a lot of the Pokemon Games section, which I have renamed to Pokemon Video Games. I added the release dates, and some more important information. I did the most updating in the Movies Section, which is a sub section in Pokemon Anime. I put the screenshots on the same page, and did some stuff, you know, just stuff. I also added a few trailers for Celebi, A Timeless Encounter and Lord of the Unown Tower, the movie which is about to come out very soon. To go to the movie section, CLICK HERE.

Japanese Pokemon Theme Song
Friday, February 23, 2001
Japanese Pokemon Theme Song DownloadEver wondered what the Japanese version of the Pokemon theme song looked like? Want to know how much they changed the animations in the start? Want to know how good it sounds (I don't understand it, but I like it still)? Well, now you can download the song to your computer and listen to it a hundred times (exactly what I did). Simply click on from the song on the left. If you don't want to download it but only want to see the pictures from it, I, myself, took a few pictures. Click here to check it out.

In the past few days, I've been updating many things around the website. Something's new in every section, and almost in every sub-section. Go around the site and take a look at the new stuff, because there is just too much to talk about. I'm sure you'll be very pleased.

Sorry for not updating often. I'm here to tell all of you that I will be updating the site and the news only once per week. No, I didn't lose my interest in Pokemon. No, I'm not lazy. It's none of that. Just don't ask why, 'cause I won't answer. This is my last day updating at school, because the computer teacher wouldn't let me in anymore, and I'm not allowed to update much at home. But soon I can. Still, there's enough stuff on Pokemon Dome to keep you alive for the whole Spring. That's all. My next update might be on Monday.

About The Forums
Friday, February 16, 2001
PokeDome ForumsHi all, I'm updating news at school today! It's another day of news, and I want to talk about the forums of Pokemon Dome. Recently, I did a lot of work around the board. I changed the colors, added a few new forums, and added a few new hacks. It didn't take long to do that, still, it was a lot of hard work.

Even though this site gets around 100 visitors per day, only 13 of them joined the forums. The forums/message board/bulliten boards/boards/UBB, whatever ya like to call it, is a place where you can post messages and have discussions with many other members of the board. As I said before, not many people joined. So I want every one of you to join so we can have a big Pokemon discussion. To go there, simply click on the image of the message board on the right of this text.

Happy Birthday, Pokemon Dome!
Monday, February 12, 2001
Pokemon Dome is one year old today! Well, I'm not sure, but the day I created the site somewhere around February last year. If you don't know, this site started out to be called The Pokemon Center, then called Pokemon Wave, and now Pokemon Dome. If you want to learn more about the history, go visit the HISTORY section. It has quite a lot of errors in it, but I'll be making a new one.

As you can see, the new, well, modified, layout is up! The most obvious change is that there is a What's New thing on the top (which I will be removing), a poll (something Pokemon Dome didn't have for a looong time), and a Webmaster's Note (that's whatever I want to tell ya guys). The news archive is up, just scroll to the bottom of the page to find it. The new episode guide is up too, and so is a new feature called the group board. It's like a chat room, but you can draw pictures that everyone can see. CLICK HERE to go!

I just checked my stats in Pokemon Village Topsites today, and saw that Pokemon Dome had 388 visitors on Saturday! That is something to be happy for, because that is amazing. We've never had so many visitors in one day. Well, someone sent in another Ash Answers, so I'll be adding that soon. See ya!

Pokemon 3 The Movie Trailer
Thursday, February 8, 2001
Pokemon 3 The Movie Pokemon.com, the official Pokemon site has released the trailer for the next Pokemon movie. It is called Lord of the Unown Tower, but the whole movie including the mini-movie is called Pokemon 3 The Movie. It is expected to be out very soon. And from what I've heard, Charizard will return to save Ash in the third movie. A summary on the movie will be up soon on Pokemon Dome.

The new episode guide is working great. It loads quickly, just like any other page on Pokemon Dome. But I have to write longer summaries, so that will take long. So I need your help to write the guides. If you can, please send me a summary for any episode. I might give ya somethin' good. Just e-mail me at wei88_1999@lycos.com.

UK Pokemon Games Release Dates
Monday, February 6, 2001
Below are the release dates for the games in UK.

Game Boy Color
Pokemon Hardware, March
Pocket Pikachu Pedmeter, March
Pokemon Gold, March
Pokemon Silver, March
Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, June
Pokemon Crystal, October
Game Boy Advance, June/July
Nintendo 64
Pokemon Puzzle League, February
Pokemon Stadium 2, October

That's the news for today, plus some stuff that I would like to tell all ya. The old times are something to treasure, so I've decided to make a news archive. But that won't be up until the new layout is up, and that probably won't take a few months. It will only be changed slightly, I have decided, since time is precious and I don't have a lot of that. At the moment, I am working on a new Episode List, which will now be called Episode Guide. This won't be up until the new layout too. So, stay tuned!

Goodbye Charizard, We'll All Miss You
Monday, February 5, 2001
If you live in the United States, and you watched Pokemon a few days ago on Saturday, you should know what I'm talking about. Ash has given Charizard away in the episode Charizard's Burning Ambition. If you didn't see it, CLICK HERE to go to the list of Johto episodes, and you'll find the brief guide to this episode. I believe many people are sad, and think that Ash is stupid (I'm one of them). Ash has given away a lot of his Pokemon just to make room for the new ones, not because he wants them to train or stay behind or have babies. A dude also sent a question about giving away Charizard in the Ash Answers area, a place that has been up ever since the site was. To go there and see the question, CLICK HERE.

A new and better (duh) layout is coming soon. Many new features will be added. One of them is this "What's New" thing on the top of every page, so you can see what new stuff Pokemon Dome has in store for you. The colors will change quite a lot, and I'm deciding to make the Episode List real big, which means that it won't be "a brief summary". Instead, the summary of every episode will be huge. Hopefully, that will be true. There will also be a new poll, something we haven't had in a looong time. Well, see ya later!

Proof That Pokemon Crystal Is Coming...
Friday, February 2, 2001
Pokemon Crystal ProofI have more proof that Pokemon Crystal will be making it's way to North America. NOTE: This picture and this news is from PokeMasters.com.

In the latest edition of Nintendo Power there is a brief overview of Pokemon Stadium 2 (aka Pokemon Stadium GSC in Japan). In one of the pictures there is information about Haunter, featuring a nice little list of weaknesses and strengths chart near the bottom. Also in the picture, there is a section that is called "Found Wild In." Under it are 6 boxes for each Pokemon Game Boy game. If you look closely at the picture the first three boxes are Red, Blue, and Yellow, the 2 after that have to be for Gold & Silver, which leaves the last box open for Crystal. I've circled the area with a red oval.

Since the picture is in English, and the fact the game is released next month, this has to be some clear evidence that Crystal will be making its way to the US.

Sure, that's proof enough to anyone. But if you just look closely, those words don't look like they are actually in the game. What I'm trying to say is, someone used a paint program to write those words. That's only a guess, so don't get me wrong.

Dropping...
Thursday, February 1, 2001
What keeps dropping, and dropping, and dropping? Pokemon, that's what. The Lycos Top 10 results for this week has Pokemon in #10, not a very good place to be. I'm not going to post that, since it's pretty embarrasing. Dragonball Z always gets first. I don't like that though. Pokemon's the best!

As you can probably see (a word that I always say), all the news is gone. No, it's not an accident or anything. It's a new month, like you didn't notice that! I won't be archiving the news anymore, because it's useless. Now I will just delete any old news, 'cause it's old. That's all for now.
