American Pokemon fans have probably had enough of Deoxys lately. Two days ago, on February 14th, a new Pokemon TCG set called EX Deoxys was released. Following that on the next day came the release of Destiny Deoxys, the seventh Pokemon movie, on DVD and VHS. The cards and the movie are all connected in a way, and it seems that Deoxys is becoming quite a star these days.

First of all, Happy Valentine's Day! Now for the real news...The eigth Pokemon movie (the one involving Mew) has been renamed as Mew and the Wave Guiding Hero - Rukario. This new name , along with a picture from Coro Coro magazine reveals a new Pokemon by the name of Rukario. To your right is the silhouette of this newly revealed Pokemon. The shape of its body closely resembles that of Mewtwo's, and according to the magazine, is also closely related to Mew.

The title of the movie tells us that Mew and Rukario are the main characters. Also in the movie are the Regi Pokemon and Munchlax, the other "new" Pokemon. More info soon to come.

To your left is an image of the limited edition Pikachu Game Boy Advance SP, to be released in Japan this month. Reservations will be from February 18th and to February 28th. Pokemon fans in Japan will be able to play their favorite Pokemon games on this conspicuous work of art. Hopefully, Americans will be getting this soon.

Once again, I'm sorry for the lack of news and updates; the past few weeks have been quite busy for me. I will try my best to update for often.

Anyway, the box to your right, obviously, is the official English boxart for Pokemon Emerald. It's nothing too special, and was easily predicted. However, the game will be another story. This game will be the best game out of the Ruby/Sapphire series (stating the obvious yet again). Unfortunately, the release date for Pokemon Emerald in North America has been moved later for about half a month. The new release date is May 1st, 2005. But all you Pokemon fans, don't worry. Time always flies by fast.
