Monday, March 21, 2005
PokePark 2005A while back, Pokemon Dream reported in detail about Pokemon The Park 2005, a sort of Pokemon carnival to be set up in Japan in the Spring. Well, three days ago on March 18th, the Park opened up in Nagoya, Japan. Here's a brief description of PokePark from the official Park website:

POKePARK is the world first theme park based on the wonderful world of the internationally popular Pokemon characters. There will be more than 380 Pokemon characters in the park. POKePARK will feature 12 attractions such as Pikachu Forest, where kids can enjoy riding on the back of Pikachus through the forest, the Pokemon Merry-Go-Round and the Pokemon Giant Ferris Wheel as well as arcade games, stage events, shops and cafes.

POKePARK will welcome visitors both from Japan as well as all over the world and add to the excitement of the 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan, opening up an exciting new world of possibilities for visitors to fully enjoy being with the Pokemon.

Pokemon Dash Released
Wednesday, March 16, 2005
The first Pokemon game for the Nintendo DS, Pokemon Dash, has been released in the U.S.! In this game, you can use a stylus to race with Pikachu across all sorts of terrain. Below is the description from the official Nintendo website:

Pokemon Dash is the first Pokemon title to appear on Nintendo DS, and it races onto the new handheld with an innovative flair. Your goal is to guide Pikachu from one PokeBall checkpoint to the next by sliding the stylus across the touch screen. Pikachu races across land, sky and sea in a heated competition to beat other Pokemon to the finish line.

Pokemon Dash is a fun racing game with a fresh approach. Despite its seemingly simple gameplay, the competition can get really intense! Pokemon Dash is an obvious choice for Pokemon fans, but even casual fans of racing games will get a kick out of this title, especially when battling friends in the six-player multiplayer mode.

Updates At Last
Wednesday, March 9, 2005
I have finally updated the site! First, I've added a couple of Fan Arts that were submitted a while ago. I'm sorry to the artists who had to wait such a long time to see their art on Pokemon Dream. Also, I've added screenshots from the trailer of the eight Pokemon movie: Mew and the Wave Guiding Hero: Rukario. Click here to view them. Be warned that the pictures aren't top quality, and reveals very little.

Poll Results
Thursday, March 3, 2005
The results for the last poll (Overall, how would you rate Pokemon Dream?) are in. About half voted that PD is the best, a quarter voted Excellent, and 9% voted for horrible. I guess I'm happy with these results. However, here's the message for those that think (for some reason) that Pokemon Dream is horrible: e-mail me and give me a reason. Support your opinion with evidence, or else your opinion doesn't mean much. I need to know where I can improve, because all websites, the best or the worst, all have a room for improving. For now, there won't be any polls until I can think of something...

Also, I'm sorry for the lack of updates around the site. I assure everyone that updates are coming soon, with the first being Fan Arts.
