Pokemon...Fined?
Monday, May 31, 2004 @ 9:25 PM EDT
This may be a bit late, but Pokemon was fined not to long ago. The reason: Topps and other companies violated the European unitymarket. (Topps is a company that is licensed by Nintendo to sell Pokemon Cards and Stickers.)These companies were fined about 1.59 million euro ($1.94 million in US dollars). The cards were sold more expensive in some countries than others, and this violated Europe's market rules. Since Pokemon sales in Europe have gone so well for the last couple years, Pokemon will recover quickly.

A Bit of News
Sunday, May 30, 2004 @ 2:18 PM EDT
Nintendo has put up a bunch of English Fire Red/Leaf Green screenshots. Click here to check them out.

I have completed the new layout (although you won't see any difference), so hopefully things will look better in MSIE 5. I have also added two new episode guides in the Pokemon Advanced section, and also recoded the entire Character Bios section. Whew!

Recoding Pokemon Dream
Friday, May 28, 2004 @ 10:10 AM EDT
In the past few days and the next few days, I have and will be recoding the layout of Pokemon Dream. Because of this, certain visitors (those without Microsoft Explorer 6) may be seeing a weird looking layout. I assure you all that this will be fixed.

In addition to that, I've been working with Adobe Photoshop to figure how to make better looking graphics for PD. That's all for now.

The Fourth Generation?
Sunday, May 16, 2004 @ 1:12 AM EDT
GonbeTo your right is a never-before-seen Pokemon, known as Gonbe. Its physical appearance closely resembles Snorlax (who's Japanese name is Kabigon). In other words, Gonbe is a Pokemon of the fourth generation, and could very possibly be the pre-evolution of Snorlax.

This, of course, cannot be confirmed as of now. However, we are sure that this little chubby Pokemon will appear in the soon to be released 7th movie. For more information on this movie, please click here. Information and picture were found at Pokeschool.com

Nintendo DS
Thursday, May 13, 2004 @ 10:04 AM EDT
Nintendo DSThis is the Nintendo DS, the newest Nintendo handheld system to be on display at this year's E3. As you can see, it has two screens, both at 3-inches wide. The screen on the bottom is a touch screen (you can control it with your fingers or stylus), and they will produce better 3D graphics than the Nintendo 64!

In addition to that, the Nintendo DS has voice recognition, and a wireless feature that can connect up to 16 players. Also, it even has a GBA slot to play GBA games. This looks like the best thing since Pokemon was invented.
