FireRed/LeafGreen Sales Reports and New Games
Saturday, October 23, 2004 @ 6:37 PM EDT
Released last month, Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen sold very well according to video game sales charts. In fact, in September, Pokemon FireRed was the best selling video game of the month while Pokemon LeafGreen came in third place. They sold 684,283 and 556,065 copies in September, respectively.

In other good news, Tsunekazu Ishihara, president of Creatures Inc., has confirmed Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl to be the true successors of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. These games will be on the Nintendo DS, the dual-screened, hand-held video game system to be released in North America very soon next month.

Attack Guide
Tuesday, October 19, 2004 @ 1:19 PM EDT
Thanks to ButtonBasher, who wrote our Move Tutor Guide, Pokemon Dream now has an Attack Guide. This is a complete list of all the Pokemon attacks in all the Pokemon attacks, organized in a very nice way and made beautifully. Not all the attacks are completely up, and not all links work correctly in the guide, but everything will work out perfectly soon. Once again, thanks to ButtonBasher!

Pokemon: Destiny Deoxys
Tuesday, October 12, 2004 @ 3:59 PM EDT
The English title of the 7th Pokemon movie has been revealed - Pokemon: Destiny Deoxys. This movie is based on Deoxys, the DNA Pokemon. It also features a fourth generation Pokemon, Munchlax (Japanese name, Gonbe), the pre-evolution of Snorlax. This Pokemon will also be seen in Pokemon Dash (see last news post). Once again, thanks to Silver Lugia for this information.

New Pokemon Games
Sunday, October 10, 2004 @ 9:01 PM EDT
Thanks to Silver Lugia, I finally have some news. Three new Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS have been announced! The first game is called Pokemon Dash, a Pokemon racing game where you control the Pokemon with the stylus. A screenshot is found on the left. This game is set for release in Japan on December 2, 2004.

In addition, two Pokemon RPGs, Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl were announced. However, no additional information or images was released. These are, in fact, real games that will be released, not to be confused with the fake Pokemon Diamonds a few years ago. More information when I get it.
