The Pokemon XD Contest has officially begun today! I have received over 40 entries by now. However, I want to point out that most of them do not follow the requirements. The rules on the contest page clearly says to respond to the topic question using ONE or TWO (no less, no more) sentences -- there's a reason for that. However, I've been receiving paragraph long responses, and some don't even get to the point.

Of course, if you entered and followed the rules, then you are on your way to winning!

Sorry I haven't posted any news during the last month, Hurricane Katrina knocked down all the telephone lines and I didn't get internet until a week ago. Then my father had to go in Houston to work every week from Monday to Friday because his old work was in New Orleans, and so I had to go there. Then I had to leave because Hurricane Rita was coming, so I got back early.

At Pokemon Rocks America, they will be giving out three downloads. They are:

-a Metang with a special move you can download on to Ruby, Sapphire, Emeralf, FireRed, or LeafGreen if you try out the demos
-the Mystic Ticket that allows you to go to Navel Rock and capture Lugia and Ho-oh for FireRed, LeafGreen, or Emerald(someone e-mailed me asking when was the next time they were giving these out)
-a Munchlax-shaped racing course for Dash (you must have defeated the Grand Prix first)

They will also be having a GBA tournament, which begins at 10:15. Every 30 minutes, tournaments will start, and from 1-3 they have the "Battle on the Big Screen" where winners will get prizes.

They will have TCG tournaments as well, starting at 10:00 am.

Game Boy Micro is said to be the smallest console in the world.
It was released Monday the 19th in the U.S. for the retail price of $100. It is 4 inches wide, 2 inches long, and 0.7 inches thin! It also ways just 2.8 ounces! The Game Boy Micro is able to play all Game Boy Advance games.
There is a silver and black version for this console. Each comes with three removable faceplates.
The release for Europe for Game Boy Micro is scheduled for November 4th, 2005.

To celebrate the release of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, Nintendo has given Pokemon Dream the chance to set up a week-long giveaway contest. Thanks to Nintendo, Pokemon Dream has the opportunity to hold a contest where prizes worth over $1,500 will be given away! Ten bundles of Nintendo GameCube and Pokemon XD will be given to the ten winners of this contest! The contest will be up between September 26th and September 30th. However, those of you who are interested can check out the contest page here to get a "head start".

In addition, Nintendo has provided Pokemon Dream with exclusive information and screenshots on the mini games in Pokemon XD: the Battle Sim System and Battle Bingo.

Many of you know, many of you not. The Nintendo DS owners will probably jump in the air and hit their head in a wall, but there's a new Pokémon Game coming out! It's called Pokemon Ranger! The exact release date isn't know yet (but hey, even those from official sites may be wrong), but it is guaranteed to be a succes! You are a Pokémon Ranger and have to protect the nature from bad guys like the Shredder (OK, maybe not), but they are bad guys. This game can be linked up with Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, which are also for Nintendo DS, but there still isn't much known of any of these games, but do stay tuned for more.

The title for the first episode of the new season is called Clamperl of Wisodom!

Ash has his Torkoal and his friends along with him on a ship.
A Spoink is then sighted, and is rescued by Ash, Misty, and Brock. The Spoink jumps with happiness, and its pearl falls from its head and into the water.
This causes Torkoal to cry a lot.
Torkoal then jumps into the water and searches for the missing pearl.
Then, Ash jumpes in to get Torkoal out of the water. Torkoal suddenly cries, noticing that his mission had failed.
