Max is May's little brother, and tags along with Ash, Brock, and her in the Hoenn region. Max is the only main character that doesn't train Pokemon, since he's very young, and can be proven by the fact that he's only half as tall as his sister May. He reads a lot of books, watches a lot of Pokemon documentary, and will possibly be the next Professor Oak, who's his idol.
